Luca Volpe Productions and Alan Wong are proud to present Birthday Traveller based on the routine "Verdoux Voodoo" by Florian Severin and an original idea by Al Bertini. This fantastic tool will allow you to present a fun and entertaining routine that can be performed for any kind of audience. It can be used as an opener or as part of a confabulation routine. Highly visible for the largest stage!

Imagine this:

You give a red envelope to a member of the audience asking him to pass it in the hands of other people and at one point another spectator will say stop. The person with the red envelope will join you on stage. You will show him a folder with 31 beautifully designed destinations and ask him to tell you the day of his birthday, so to see which will be his "birthday destination".

Once the number is removed, you will show the chosen destination which miraculously matches the one in the spectator's envelope! The set comes completely ready to perform and includes a professional looking forcing ring binder, all custom designed watercolor artwork cards, a large red cardboard envelope with the final prediction and the download instructions.

Credits and other released versions:

The forcing tool has been featured in Florian Severin's "Verdoux Voodoo" from "What Lies Insided" published by Vanishing Inc Magic and from the French edition "Ultra Mental" published by C.C. Éditions and also the Japanese edition "Seltsame Abenteuer des Darian Wolf" released by Hiroyuki Okada - previously published as "Verliebt, Verlobt and Abgezockt" from the original German release "Thirteen Steps to Vandalism", all of which are based on a terrific original idea by Al Bertini, published in "Magische Studien 4" by Peter Wilker, 1991, courtesy of Al Bertini.

Anthony Lindan has developed a similar method in the late 1980s called the See Through Switch. It was published in Steve Beam's Trap Door magazine, as well as appeared in his 20 questions routine with my See Through Switch released with Penguin Magic.

Easy to do and plays big on stage and parlor shows! Great audience participation! Another great tool made by professionals for the professional workers!
